This sparkling, newly renovated beach house on Dogfish Bar’s coveted Oxcart Road is an absolute gem. The property features +/-100’ of private, sandy beach with gorgeous calm waters, gentle dunes and views sweeping across Vineyard Sound to the Elizabeth Islands, mainland and Menemsha nearby. Nestled right amongst the dunes, the home is newly renovated, with all new exterior shingle siding and roof, all new windows, and new decking and outdoor shower. On the interior, the living spaces are inviting and bright, also with numerous recent upgrades. There is beautiful wood flooring throughout, and with AC, forced air heating, and wood-burning fireplace the home offers much more than just the typical summer retreat. Perched upstairs, the master is private and balconied, with the grandest of the property’s water views. While the property itself is “to die for”, the location in Aquinnah offers a number of nearby beaches, boat launches, and trails. And, the roads in Aquinnah are outstanding for cycling enthusiasts. Notably, this area is known by local engineers to be accreting land annually, in contrast to other beachfront areas on-island where erosion is a concern. Look no further in your search for the quintessential beach cottage on Martha’s Vineyard.
