PLAN AHEAD FOR 2020 SEASON!! Year-round, B1 zoned commercial condo at sidewalk level in the already busy and yet getting even busier each year Kennebec Ave situated directly across from the 20 by 9 whiskey bar & restaurant and behind Giordano's restaurant. Big enough for most needs yet small enough for easy maintenance. The actual floor plan encompasses 660 square feet of floor space and the private, lockable storage area in the basement is 300 square feet, hence included in total square footage. There are two over-sized glass windows with UV protection (Owner says this prevents fading of clothing from the sunlight)and high ceilings that make the room feel much larger than it really is. With the strip lighting you will have a room as bright as you will ever need.(Seller taking the smaller lights leaving the bigger lights). Currently,The owner is using as a Vintage Clothing store ( business is not being sold...just the real estate, condo unit#1A). A private office/changing room and a half bath finishes the main floor which is pickled oak hardwood and tile in bathroom. B1 zoning allows for many different types of businesses, so do your "due diligence" then let your imagination create a space that works for you. Commercial units like this is one are a very valuable commodity on the Vineyard.

Jim Wallen

Jim Wallen

Jim has lived on or visited Martha’s Vineyard beginning at the age of 3 months when my family rented a cottage in Gay Head (Aquinnah). My first memory is the arc of the the three white lights and one red light of the Gay Head light reflecting into my bedroom. My family built a vacation home in Lobsterville in 1956 where I spent most of my childhood summers. After graduating college and a few years in New York I moved to the island form my first winter in 1970. Over the next several years I worked on construction projects, became a yacht delivery captain and shuttled back and forth between this island and various Caribbean ones seasonally, followed by nearly 20 years primarily in the Caribbean sailing, boat building and house building. From 1995 to 2001 I managed an air ambulance company in Nassau, Bahamas. I moved back to Martha’s Vineyard in 2001, built a house in Aquinnah and started a new career in property management. I became an associate at Feiner Real Estate in 2009. I have been married to Kathleen Smith for 30 years and have 2 sons, Nicholas 31 and Zachary, 30.
